- You have lower limb amputation (above and/or below knee)
- You have problems with your socket prosthesis like:
- pain
- skin issues (abrasions, infections, scarring)
- volume fluctuations
- excessive perspiration in the socket
- short stump preventing the use of a socket prosthesis
- You are in a good health that means:
- fit to have surgery
- no severe diabetes
- no serious bloodflow disorders in the lower limbs
- no chemo or radiation therapy in the last 2 years
- no medication that inhibits bone healing
